So to start this off why not start out with the film that has been considered one of the greatest films of all time.

For those of you who have not seen Citizen Kane, the movie is about a man by the name of Charles Foster Kane, who runs a newspaper like a tyrant. I dont want to tell you too much of the story because i want you to go see it if you have not. But the movie starts with Kane's Death and the rest of the movie is following a man trying to figure out what Kanes dying words meant. I Loved the movie through and through. i need to watch it more times to really get a grip on it, but i found the movie to be about one mans search for someone who would love him unconditionally. It seemed like every move Kane made was in hope of a reaction of some kind. I think that Kane had wealth and fame but could never get over being given up as a child and he never felt like anyone loved him for him, but for the things he represented. Like in the moments where the singer states that she has no idea who he is, he has pure joy on his face because he knows he can find out if she really loves him. Maybe the most interesting thing about this movie is that it is based from the actual life of William Randolph Hearst. Who would have it out for Oreon Welles later on but thats a whole other animal.
Well in conclusion i have learned a great deal about Orson Wells and what a creative tycoon he was. and i have great respect for him. He is the most iconic voice in all of radio, T.V. and Film no doubt. I will be watching this one many more times just to get it in. Great movie, and i have alot to yet learn from it.
