the beginning of life drawing for animation

Ok, so i know i have not updated this in a while but im back dont worry. the truth is i was on winter break and havent been doing much art to show off. now that im back in school i have a little to show you guys.
So, most of the stuff that i will be showing will be from my Life Drawing for animation class, it has only been 3 weeks into the class and it has been the best class yet. My teacher was an animator on family guy and is really excited about animation. Also every class meeting he has personaly picked out some of my work as being what he is looking for, most other students have only been talked about once, if that. so that makes me proud and excited that i picked the right career.

So with out further ado, here are some of the things ive been working on.
- this is a drawing of a tree in the CSUF arboretum, one of several but my fav, thats why i started it off with this one.

Ok, the last 8 were drawing from life while cafe sketching around campus.
this one is based of the movement of the first tree drawing at the top.

-these are more drawings of trees from the CSUF arboretum.
This is a goofy drawing that i made for my best friend.

those two drawings are 2 of the many that i have made at
my frequent trips to disneyland, im a sucker for giving them away to pretty girls.

These last ones were part of a home work assignment that i did. The task was to draw the skelaton and muscular structure for a cartoon character. So i chose pinocchio because he is my favorite character of all time, as a kid i watched pinocchio over and over again. I drew them the way they are to show the emotion and weight of movement.

So i hope you like my work, tell me what you think good or bad every comment helps no mater how big or small.

i will be trying to update every week like on friday, so bug me if i don't but hopefully you wont have to bug me.

thanks for your time,

Jeff Gonser
